In my first week of training for the Boston Marathon, I had a sudden onset of Plantar Fasciitis, an injury I didn’t know the warning signs for. I was sidelined due to the pain and the risk of worsening the injury. Dr. Gonzales was doing a test trial of his Runner’s Foot & Ankle Pain video guide (I live in NY state), and I signed on. Within days of following the prescribed exercises I had less pain in my foot. A few days later I was able to resume running without pain. I’ve incorporated his movements into my daily routine, and now at the slightest tinge of PF I resume some of the first aid moves to nip it in the bud. I highly recommend this approach to anyone experiencing nagging injuries such as PF or IT band.
